GMBA's Viplav Kuvale and Viraj Kuvale were part of the Maharashtra men's team that won the bronze medal in the Inter State and Inter Zonal Championships in Vijayawada. GMBA vice president Mangirish Palekar was the coach of the team while GMBA secretary Sachin Bharati was the Manager.
